Course Overview:

This course will provide students with the necessary information and skills needed to address a diverse range of public health issues. The course covers methods for promoting good health, preventing diseases, and managing environmental dangers that threaten our well-being.

Expected Learning Outcome:

Upon finishing this course successfully, learners will be able to:

  • Gain knowledge about matters relating to public health.
  • Display some understanding of the responsibilities of individuals and organizations involved in promoting public health.
  • Show awareness of the discussions and challenges that can arise from efforts to promote public health.

Potential career opportunities include roles as, Environmental Officer, Community Health Worker, or Social Mobilizer.

Course Level: Certificate, National Diploma & Higher National Diploma

Requirements For Admission:

  • In order to be considered for admission, it is necessary for the applicant to have taken the WASSCE and achieved at least a passing grade.
  • Additionally, holding any other recognized qualification will also be taken into consideration when reviewing applications.
  • Applicants must complete and submit an application form that clearly provides all required details.
  • Applicant to demonstrate a strong interest in their chosen study program.
  • Payment of the specified application fee is mandatory.
